The CME Center

The OOA offers on-demand programs through The CME Center, a collaborative effort by state societies to provide the highest quality online education for the osteopathic physician community. Programs address clinical topics as well as practice management and health care regulation issues. All programs are eligible for AOA Category 1-A credit.

The Virtual Osteopathic Conference

The OOA partners with other state osteopathic associations to offer The VOC, a one-day virtual conference held annually in February.

The conference offers 48 hours of AOA Category 1-A and AMA PRA Category 1 credits, available for purchase in 8-credit increments.

This online program offers physicians the flexibility to attend a live online event and/or access it on-demand just hours after each lecture concludes. In addition, the entire event may be completed on-demand at a later date and time that fits your schedule.

Speakers record their lectures in advance and then are live on the platform on the day of the event to answer questions. A whopping 98% of attendees say they would recommend The VOC to a colleague!

The Ohio Osteopathic Symposium is the premier CME event for osteopathic physicians in Ohio and the Midwest, drawing 200+ DOs annually in April. Held at the Columbus Hilton Hotel near Easton Town Center, it offers top-tier education and networking in a prime location for dining, entertainment, and shopping.

The program features specialty credit sessions in pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and family medicine, with an average of 20 AOA Category 1-A CME hours. Attendees gain cutting-edge medical insights, connect with state and national leaders, participate in the OOA business meeting, and network with colleagues.

The Symposium also showcases research through a regional scientific poster contest featuring 75+ entries.
