Vote Scheduled on SMBO Rules
Hearing set for Nov. 18
The State Medical Board of Ohio has filed the following rules with the Joint Commission on Agency Rule Review and will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of the rules. Rules under consideration pertain to Board Hearings, Office-Based Surgeries, Sexual Misconduct, and Light Based Medical Devices.
The hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 in conference room 336 of the Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 East Broad Street, 2nd Floor, Columbus, OH 43215.
Oral or written testimony may be presented by an person affected by the proposed actions. Those persons who wish to provide oral testimony at the hearing should preregister and submit a copy of testimony by contacting Kimberly Anderson at the address below.
Written comments may be provided at the public hearing. However, the board encourages written comments be submitted prior to Nov. 18.
