Students & Residents: Register for the White Coats Retreat

Attention Students and Residents!

You're invited to the OOA White Coat Leaders Retreat. Osteopathic medical students and residents are invited to expand their leadership presence and strengthen their voice within the profession through this event.

The program begins Saturday afternoon, Nov. 15, and concludes Sunday, Nov. 16, after lunch. Thanks to a generous donor, accommodations, meals, and beverages are provided. Space is limited to 60 participants, and there will be no virtual option.

The retreat will feature sessions on practical skills to support your leadership journey. Potential topics may include:

• Advocacy – Standing up for patients and the profession
• Communication – Speaking clearly, listening well, resolving conflicts
• Emotional Intelligence – Being aware of your feelings and others
• Ethics – Making good decisions in complex situations
• Feedback – Accepting and giving
• Financial Foundations for Future Physicians
• Finding Opportunities – Getting involved in leadership roles early
• Mentorship – Learning from and supporting others
