Poster Competition
An essential part of advancing osteopathic research is sharing discoveries with the broader medical community. Through journal publications and poster presentations, research dissemination informs practice and shapes the future of medicine. The Ohio Osteopathic Symposium provides a premier platform to showcase scholarly work.
The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Ohio Osteopathic Association are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2026 Ohio Osteopathic Symposium Research and Scholarly Activity Competition.
The 2026 competition will include both virtual and in-person components. Virtual research presentations will take place in March 2026, followed by an in-person poster session on Saturday, April 25, 2026, during the Ohio Osteopathic Symposium, held April 23–26, 2026. Please review all guidelines and submission requirements carefully before submitting an abstract.
Categories and Prizes:
- Biomedical/Clinical Research
- Social/Behavioral Medicine/Medical Education
- Case Reports
Cash prizes will be awarded in each category to recognize excellence in osteopathic research.
