Greetings,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce to you the passing of George Dunigan.

George was previously the Director of Government Relations for the Ohio Osteopathic Association and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served to advance the osteopathic profession and was instrumental in securing the legislation that established OU-HCOM. 

George had over 30 years of service to our profession and was acknowledged with the Phillips Medal of Public Service from OU-HCOM as well as the OOA Meritorious Service Award, which is the highest mark of distinction provided by our organization to a non-physician. 

His contributions were immense, his legacy is long-lasting, and he will surely be missed.
